Support Engineer – Tier 2
Title: Tier 2 Support Engineer
Type: Direct Hire
Salary: $70-90K
Location: Centennial In Office
About the Role:
- Required:3 + years experience in the cable, telecom, or IT industries serving as a system, support, or IPTV Engineer.
- Desired: 1+ year experience supporting IPTV/Android-TV based products in a technical customer support capacity: support, installation and troubleshooting of company products.
- Working knowledge of IP protocols including TCP/IP, RTSP, UDP, Multicast traffic, Unicast traffic, etc.
- Strong communication skills BOTH written and verbal.
- Customer facing skills (Tier 2 level)
Job Responsibilities:
Provide customers with technical and applications support for both new and existing products. Manage and update tickets regarding product related issues. Working with vendors' support groups to resolve issues.
Provide training and documentation to help the customer become self-sufficient. Escalation to managers of critical issues. On call rotation to respond to and work customer issues outside of normal business hours to resolution.
