SUMMARY
The Recruiting Manager is responsible for identifying, attracting, and retaining qualified candidates. The Recruiting Manager provides support and direction to internal recruiters providing services to hiring managers across the country.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local labor regulations.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to determine current and future hiring needs.
• Take steps to ensure positive candidate experience.
• Oversee the administrative aspects of the hiring process such as scheduling interviews, conducting reference, checks and drafting offer letters.
• Recommend hiring decisions based on the results of interviews and reference checks.
• Responsible for establishing and implementing metrics for the recruiting team in conjunction with the Sr Manager, Talent Acquisition.
• Identify resources for local hiring needs.
• Escalation points for Recruiters needing assistance.
• Organize and/or attend career fairs, assessment centers or other events as needed.
• Manages the Recruiters in conjunction with support from the Sr Manager, Talent Acquisition.
• Recruit, interview, hire and train new direct reports.
• Review pending offers for approval.
• Oversee the daily workflow direct reports.
• Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations
• Other Duties as assigned.

Travel: The individual in this role should be able and willing to travel as required by E2 Optics.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
• High School Diploma or GED required.

EXPERIENCE:
• 5+ years of recruiting experience, with at least 1 years in a managerial role.
• Experience recruiting in a construction, industrial or a manufacturing environment preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
• Experience in full-cycle recruiting, sourcing and employment branding.
• Understanding of all selection methods and techniques.
• Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and databases.
• Strong leadership, communication, coaching and collaborative skills.
• Exceptional analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to add value both independently and as a team member.
• Demonstrate professionalism with ability to engage effectively to build rapport across all employee levels; management, staff, customers, vendors, contractors and others.
• Ability to effectively transfer knowledge, coach, influence and encourage others in quality and Lean topics.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The standard work environment for this position is an indoors business office and construction environment. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Requires ability to use a computer and/or equipment while sitting or standing for extended periods of time. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee must demonstrate regular and on-time attendance. There could be a requirement of occasional travel by conventional means including aircraft, motor vehicle and the like within the region and to other locations as required. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions.

Pay- Starting at $50,000 salary based on experience, plus commission and bonus opportunity, on target year one earnings are about $75,000 to $100,000.

Summary:

You will be the principal face of our company to the candidates we partner with on a daily basis. We are looking for an individual that has the effective professional and technical skills as well as personal characteristics that result in successfully filled orders and satisfied clients and candidates. Recruiters work closely with Account Managers to identify priority orders and then successfully recruit and place candidates on those orders. We will provide training to get you up to speed but it’s critical to have a strong work-ethic, be motivated by money, and be a team player.

Day-to-day job duties:

  • Drive all stages of the recruiting process through candidate sourcing, qualification, matching, submittal, client interview and placement of candidates.
  • Manage candidate from the interview process through the hire period.
  • Complete necessary pre-employment processes including reference checks and social media search.
  • Work with Account Managers to bring on board most desirable candidates to market.
  • Develop and maintain relevant candidate prospects through networking events and social media channels.
  • Responsible for thoroughly assessing candidate qualifications, including capabilities, interests, availability and pay, to effectively match the candidate with the client’s needs—resulting in candidate and client satisfaction.
  • Use recruiting and sales skills to influence effectively the candidate and client, while driving the recruiting process, including relationship building, overcoming objections, targeted and timely follow-up, prep/debrief and closing techniques.
  • Contribute to the development of the sales funnel by generating leads when engaging with candidates (qualification and referral process).
  • Responsible for maintaining knowledge of current clients
  • Develop and maintain professional branding through social media
  • Any additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Any professional experience including a full-time job, internship or preferably Recruiting experience.
  • Have a desire to learn and advance in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Willingness to working on a commission structure
  • Preferred experience working with LinkedIn, Bullhorn, social media, and job boards
  • Possess strong written and oral English communication skills
