IT Project Manager

We are looking to add an IT Project Manager to our IT Department. The IT Project Manager will be the primary coordination point for a portfolio of IT projects.  In this role you will provide oversight, tracking, best practices, escalation as needed and smooth transition of projects and or products to production.  You will work with IT staff, external vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure the best possible outcomes for IT Projects.  You will have experience in project managing both Application and IT Infrastructure projects.  You will play a key role in keeping the project team engaged and maintaining clear communication throughout the project.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Utilize common project methodologies in the delivery of IT project management including Agile or Waterfall
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of multiple projects
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Ensure appropriate feedback gathering occurs post project close
  • Utilize corporate communication standards through project lifecycle
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Measure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Manage relationships with relevant stakeholders
  • Perform risk management to minimize potential risks
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project
  • Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members' individual strengths, skill sets, and experience levels
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
  • Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
  • Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members
  • Use and continually develop leadership skills
  • Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs

· Establish working relationships and collaborate with office staff

· Understanding of DevOps methodologies to drive efficiency in the delivery of IT Services

· Follow all applicable federal/state regulations with respect to Confidentiality and HIPAA, among others.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Healthcare Information Technology, or relevant field or equivalent knowledge and skills obtained through a combination of education, training and experience required.
  • Proven working experience in project management
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and problem-solving ability
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus
  • Ability to successfully accomplish tasks with minimal oversight and management.
  • Healthcare experience preferred; Experience in Reproductive/Fertility Medicine, Family or Primary Care is a plus but not required.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency in the use of computer equipment and software, including but not limited to, Windows environment (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook – Intermediate to Advanced skills) required.
  • Experience with project management software tools
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team required

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This is a full-time position based in Lone Tree, Colorado; local and national travel is required. Normal hours include planning time, consultation with local and remote staff, travel time, and educational activities.

This job operates in a professional office.  This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, including computer keyboards and mice; telephones; photocopiers; scanners; filing cabinets. Working evenings and weekends may be required occasionally to perform the tasks outlined in the job description.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate with others. The employee is frequently required to sit; will occasionally stand and/or walk; use hands and fingers to grasp, pick, pinch, type; and reach with hands and arms. Employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; operation of standard office machines and equipment.
