Growth Enablement Manager

JOB PROFILE SUMMARY:   

The Proposal & Growth Enablement Manager will lead end-to-end proposal submissions across all business segments, from initial research to project management and content gathering to final submission. They will write clear, concise, and persuasive content for Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Request for Information (RFIs), focusing on the value proposition, benefits, and solutions our organization can offer. This includes customizing proposals to suit each prospect’s unique needs using relevant data to create compelling visuals while maintaining brand consistency. This role will also lead content programming for the Sales Enablement team, which will include sales support for presentations, collateral development, and internal communications. 
The Proposal & Growth Enablement Manager should exhibit strong writing skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to generate creative ideas while working both independently and collaboratively. The successful candidate is expected to be a detail-oriented self-starter, multitasker who works well under pressure, and follows through on tasks. We are looking for a strong team member with a background in sales, marketing or project management, preferably in healthcare, who leads by example and keeps the team informed of changes.    

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
•    Interfaces with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to win work and to manage the information infrastructure that enables the business to do so efficiently. 
•    Reviews client opportunity portals for pipeline development and filters for initial go/no-go review. 
•    Provides leadership and direction for proposals, including schedule, templates, compliance, content planning, and production. 
•    Responsible for leading large and small proposals and presentations and supports from pre-RFP opportunity identification through to interview stage, as required. 
•    Analyze RFQs, RFPs and RFIs to create proposal outlines and development plans. 
•    Provides conceptual leadership for document design, while ensuring RFP instructions and internal brand guidelines pertaining to format, fonts, etc. are being followed. 
•    Coordinates with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to capture planning and positioning activities as they pertain to preparation for the proposal. 
•    Provide writing guidance to contributors of RFQs, RFPs and RFIs and Presentations/Proposals to ensure documentation is clear and concise. –
•    Strong aptitude for improving organization, flow, readability, completeness, and clarity of engineering intensive proposals.  
•    Applies lessons learned to add value to proposals. Manages the implementation of proposal and presentation revisions based on direction from review teams. 
•    Write and edit tailored resumes and past performance sections for proposals.  Provides or obtains grammatical and technical editing to ensure quality. 
•    Monitor proposal content to ensure compliance to RFP requirements, evaluation criteria, and technical requirements. 
•    Proactively makes updates to RFQ, RFP, RFI and Proposal/Presentation content as requirements and strategy change.
•    Supports debriefs and gathering of client feedback on proposals to ensure and demonstrate continuous improvement. 
•    Supports content development related clients/markets, as requested. 
•    Produces new content for BDA cadence efforts and strategic outreach based on prospects/targets, markets and territories.
•    May contribute to the development and implementation/presentation of internal training content. 
•    Maintain, augment and improve library of reusable components, templates, and processes to reduce response time and improve quality on future bids. 
•    Supports special projects assigned by management, as required. 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
•    Experience in Marketing and Healthcare-related Business Development roles
 
EDUCATION (Required and/or Preferred):
•    BA/BS in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing or a related field  

FIELD OF STUDY (Preferred):
•    Healthcare Administration, Business Administration etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous Experience:
•    5+ years’ experience in Communications and Marketing, preferably in healthcare. 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), InDesign, Illustrator 
•    Proven ability to work across organizations with effective communication, leadership, and project management skills. 
•    Ability to balance workload, prioritize, and work under tight deadlines with a positive attitude. 
•    Ability to work independently without supervision.
•    Possess knowledge in design and/or design principles. 
•    Excellent writing, grammar, and spelling ability. Writing or proposal samples preferred. 
•    Excellent presentation and written/oral communication skills. 
•    Ability to work in a deadline-conscious, results-driven environment. 
•    Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and quality-driven.
