Key Responsibilities

  • Programmatically trade/buy inventory in a real time bidding environment.
  • Analyze campaign pacing and performance daily and make optimizations to exceed the client's goals/KPIs.
  • Optimize across tactics and platforms as needed to exceed campaign goals.
  • Strategically utilizes a variety of inventory sources for efficient Supply Path Optimization; PMP, Preferred, PG, etc.
  • Leverage 1P and 3P data to identify the best audience decisions.
  • Participate in campaign kickoff meetings with Sales, Account Management, and the client.
  • Responsible for managing key performance indicators of CTV/OTT video and Digital advertising campaigns as agreed upon across the team (sales members, clients, Ad Ops Lead, etc.).
  • Provides strategic partnership to Account Management, Sales, and the Client throughout the client journey.
  • Troubleshooting and providing resolution to video creative, VAST Tag, 3rd party ad server, or any other issues.
  • Produce, implement, and troubleshoot tracking tags & pixels when needed.
  • Analyze inventory performance and make recommendations on suppliers and pricing.
  • Responsible for investigating and solving platform issues.
  • Provide weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports to Account Management, Sales and Clients.
  • Communicate campaign reporting and updates via zoom or in-person meetings with sales and clients weekly or case-by-case-basis.
  • Assist with preparation and participate in Campaign Review discussions with Account Management, Sales and the client.
  • Provide Account Management with impression forecasts, data segments, and campaign strategy as needed.
  • Consume various digital advertising publications & sources to maintain a firm understanding of the innovations within the CTV and digital advertising industry.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • MUST have 1+ year of knowledge and experience as a Media Trader/Buyer
  • Trade Desk certification & experience required
  • Other DSP experience a plus
  • Experience working directly with CTV/OTT products preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
  • A systematic approach to work
  • Google certification or other digital certifications are encouraged

You will work with a variety of partners internally and externally to provide a best in class experience to our people and clients. Exceeding clients expectations and goals by delivering industry-leading, data-driven CTV/OTT campaigns with cutting edge attribution. The ideal candidate for this role is a determined and highly motivated go-getter with demonstrated skills in leadership, relationship building, project management, and the ability to lead the team through ambiguity, growth and change.

What you’ll do

  • Coach, mentor, develop and lead a dynamic team of Ad Ops Campaign Managers.
  • Stay current on DSP capabilities and continuously look for ways to improve optimization strategies.
  • Oversight of Supply Path Optimization efforts.
  • Collect and analyze data to measure team performance.
  • Monitor and evaluate progress of the Ad Operations team, evolve approach and plans based on learnings.
  • Track execution of deliverables and action items for accountability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Account Management, Marketing, Product, PM and Strategus Labs to exceed company goals.
  • Drive team efficiencies and consistency to meet key KPIs and other business metrics.
  • Assist with solutions to complex issues by clearly articulating the problem, ensuring the right stakeholders are involved and formulating an approach with the team.
  • Provides exceptional customer services, internally and externally, through partnership, and ownership of the Ad Ops team.
  • Work with Strategus Labs to oversee new product documentation and deployment to the Ad Ops Team.
  • Serve as a thought partner to the Leadership team.

Qualifications

  • You've got 2+ years of experience in programmatic RTB, ideally in OTT/CTV.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience managing a team of operations managers
  • Extensive knowledge of digital advertising campaign management landscape (DSPs, SSPs, DMPs, Ad Exchanges, etc), primarily Demand-Side (DSPs).
  • Experience & understanding of managing programmatic OTT video ad campaigns
  • High comfort level in giving direct and honest feedback.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to analyze large volumes of data and summarize for team and leadership.
  • Ability to lead multiple, high-priority projects through implementation and adoption.
  • Numbers come naturally to you, especially when it comes to data
  • You enjoy a fast-paced environment and working with a variety of people.
