Java Developer

UPDATE: 7/7/21

Java Candidates:

  1. Jeff is NOT looking for job hoppers. Or developers who have notoriously done contracts. He wants a Minimum of 3 years at a company.
  2. Jeff is only looking for developers in Denver/greater Detroit area that have worked mostly in these areas.  not hopped form place to place.  If they were remote positions please make that known on the writeup.
  3. Candidates do not need 20+ years of experience. This team already has solid senior developers/leads, so all Jeff is looking for is a solid individual contributor.
  4. Lastly, Jeff’s team is a family. The culture on his team is very tight knit, and they have all great personalities. Please keep that in mind when sending over candidates.

Update: 1/12/21

Atlassian software is heavily used as part of our processes, from a developer’s workflow of daily work, documentation repository, and so on.  John didn’t have that background or even anything equivalent in terms of that SDLC discipline.  There was some struggle in speaking to his experience on his resume around his technical projects, but he did manage to get some things across.

Truthfully, a candidate that’s well-rounded in SDLC exposure and has that really strong Java background where they can speak confidently to their resume/work experience is the kind of person we’d be able to mix well into the team.

Update 12/9: The key to finding a successful person in this role is to fins someone that believes in "Discipline" in their coding. and the Structure of their code. (Not a Copy and Paste type)
He wants someone who believes in "Clean Code Procatice"

They should be able to speak to THEIR role in any projects. "What I Did"

Denver or Detroit location!!
