SUMMARY

The Senior Director of Human Resource will lead our HR function and drive people-centered initiatives that support our business goals. This role will oversee all aspects of human resources, including employee relations, organizational development, compliance, compensation, and culture. As a key member of the leadership team, the Senior Director of HR will shape a high-performing, values-driven workplace.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Partner with executive leadership to align HR strategy with aggressive business growth goals
  • Oversee full HR operations including compliance, employee relations, and performance management
  • Build workforce planning strategies that support rapid scaling across field and corporate teams
  • Lead initiatives that strengthen company culture, employee engagement, and retention
  • Champion safety, quality, and compliance across all locations and job sites
  • Manage compensation structures, benefits programs, and talent development initiatives
  • Provide expert guidance on sensitive employee matters and conflict resolution
  • Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts to ensure a welcoming, performance-driven environment
  • Use data and metrics to evaluate workforce trends and guide decisions
  • Mentor and grow a high-impact HR team that can support both field and corporate functions

What We’re Looking For:

  • 10+ years of HR experience, including at least 5 in a senior or strategic leadership role
  • Background in telecommunications, construction, or another fast-paced, field-based industry strongly preferred
  • Proven success scaling HR functions during periods of rapid growth
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, compliance, and risk management
  • Confident communicator who can operate at both strategic and hands-on levels
  • Experience supporting multi-site teams across diverse roles and locations

SUMMARY
The Director of Human Resources (HR) is responsible for leading and mentoring the HR team. This role involves overseeing all HR functions, employee development, performance management, compensation and benefits, compliance, and organizational culture. The Director will work closely with senior leadership to foster a positive workplace environment and drive employee engagement.

• Develop and implement HR strategies that align with organizational objectives, enhancing workforce capability and supporting business growth.
• Design and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career progression, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Establish performance management systems that promote employee accountability, development, and recognition of achievements.
• Oversee compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and equity, while aligning with the organization’s budget and goals.
• Foster a positive organizational culture by promoting open communication, resolving conflicts, and addressing employee concerns effectively.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies, keeping the organization informed of any changes that may impact HR practices.
• Analyze HR metrics to measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and providing insights to leadership.
• Support organizational change initiatives by providing guidance and resources to facilitate smooth transitions and employee buy-in.
• Manage and lead the Human Resource Managers.
• Create and update HR policies and procedures in compliance with legal requirements and best practices.

Travel: This role does not require regular travel, however the individual in this role should be able and willing to travel as required by E2 Optics.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• HR Certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is preferred.

EXPERIENCE:
• 7-10 years of progressive HR experience, with a minimum of 3-5 years of a leadership role.
