Job Description
  • Support CFO with Investor Relations
  • Overall responsibility for the Annual Information Form,
  • Support budget and forecast processes, including updating the corporate model with commercial inputs and actual data;
  • Manage external data sources for key inputs to Strategic Model
  • Serves as back up for monthly variance report;
  • Create and prepare presentations for investor meetings, management meetings, board of director meetings and other activities
  • Support adhoc activities including, sensitivity analysis, and impairment analysis;
  • Assist with annual financial and other external reports, including the ESG report;
  • Develop SGNA process;
  • Key stakeholder partnering with the CFO for the development of the strategic plan;
  • Partner with the Director of Planning on the development of the Strategic and Valuation model;
  • Complete valuation analysis for Corporate and Individual Assets.
  • M&A support including managing third party data rooms;
  • Support banking relationships;
  • Provides guidance and training to staff as needed.
  • Submits reports to management as requested.
  • Responsible for various other administrative and management duties, commensurate with responsibilities, as directed by the company.
Candidate Requirements and Characteristics Education and Experience

  • Minimum of a Bachelors Degree or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 5 years of related experience.
  • Direct experience in the resource industry.
  • Public company experience with an emphasis on Canadian public company and stock exchange experience is desired but not mandatory.

Compensation package
 

  1. Annual Salary: US$150K to $200K (depending on candidate)
  2. STI: 30%
  3. LTI: 30%
  4. 401k: Up to 9% employer contribution as follows: (ii) Itafos makes a matching contribution equal to 100% of the first 6% of the compensation the employee contributes to the plan every payroll period up to the maximum allowed by the IRS, and (ii) a discretionary contribution by Itafos of 3% of the annual salary, paid during the first quarter of the following year.
  5. Medical plan: five medical options with Blue Cross Blue Shields including the PPO 500, the PPO 1000, the PPO 2500, which are co-pay options, and the HDHP 3000 and the HDHP 5000, which are high deductible options.  The program also includes dental and vision benefits. The company covers between 72% and 85% of the annual premiums depending on the plan chosen by the employee.
