Fundamental Qualifications

  • Administering D365, Microsoft Dynamics experience
  • Experience with Active Directory, Security Groups as they pertain to Dynamics 365

· Experience providing at least Tier 1 support with strong troubleshooting skills

  • Experience with SQL Server Databases & SSIS

Job Title: Dynamics 365 Lead Administrator

 Reports to:  VP-IT

 Supervises: IT Application Specialists I, II and III

Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Vice President of Information Technology/Systems (VP IT), the Dynamics Lead Administrator provides planning, implementation, system testing and production support of Dynamics 365 (D365) for InnovAge and its affiliates.

Essential Functions and Work Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with key Business Leaders, other IT Leaders and vendors (Microsoft, and the D365 partners)
  • Work with InnovAge leadership including Regional COO’s, Executive Directors, Center Directors Marketing executives and Sales leadership to develop a D365 business strategy and vision that aligns InnovAge business strategy and vision
  • Work with InnovAge IT Executives and Leadership to develop a D365 technical strategy around Hosting, Security, Application Integration and Analytics that aligns with InnovAge’s IT Security, Policies and Processes  
  • Development operational processes & workflows to ensure that the D365 meets and exceeds InnovAge business and technical requirements
  • Generates the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for support and management of D365 Environments (Development, Test and Production)
  • Develop training strategies, plans, and content for end users 
  • Support and oversight of more junior D365 support staff

Functional Category:  Projects and Operational Support

  • Working with IT leaders and business stakeholders to develop project and implementation plans that deliver business functionality to D365 users
  • Play a leadership role in the execution of D365 projects including planning, implementation and testing and deployment of solutions 
  • Implementation and management operational processes & workflows to ensure that the D365 meets and exceeds InnovAge business and technical requirement
  • Training users on how to navigate our D365 instance
  • Creates training documentation and job guides to be used company-wide
  • Create Custom Objects, Fields, Formulas, Workflows, Validation Rules, and Email Alerts etc.
  • Create and maintain Executive, Sales and service Dashboards and Reports
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities for D365 related systems and processes
  • Provide for daily maintenance and support for D365 instances
  • Create user accounts, delete accounts, creates/changes permissions by account; user profiles, page layouts, security in D365
  • Design, develop, and enhance reports and dashboards for D365
  • Maintenance and customization of D365 using HTML   
  • Maintenance and customization of D365 using JavaScript
  • Support of D365 environments (Development, Test and Production) including Azure and ASP.Net
  • Interact with end users and software vendors in order to troubleshoot and resolve Dynamics 365 issues
  • Function as a key point of user contact and customer service for Information Services, and is accountable for user satisfaction

  • Perform annual review process in a timely and effective manner

Travel Requirements

Travel

  • Some travel required for implementations and support of D365 in other states where InnovAge does business
  • Overnight travel out of state

Relocation

Qualifications

REQUIRED

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management or a related field from an accredited college/university

Work Experience and Qualifications

  • Key Qualifications:
    • Application Administration of Dynamics 365,
    • Active Directory Security Groups,
    • SQL Server / TSQL & SSIS
      • Understanding and managing SSIS packages is a key skill
  • Experience with and understanding of .Net Languages (C#, VB, etc…), ASP.Net & HTML, JavaScript.
  • One (1) year of supervisory experience
  • Ten (10) years of IT experience
  • Five (5) years of Dynamics exp

Preferred

Work Experience and Qualifications

  • Microsoft Dynamics certification (desired)
  • PowerShell or other scripting language
  • Experience with supporting databases, specifically SQL Server
  • Experience with Exchange, Windows Server, Active Directory
